Sky is being targeted by a psychopath. She runs from a werewolf that she believes is the one after her. His name is Wyatt and he's the alpha of the pack where she is living now. He tells her she's going with him when they go to her house and find its where the killer has been. She tells him he's crazy. She's not going anywhere with him. She ends up going with him to his home. Wyatt thinks that the killer may be someone in her former pack. They go there to talk to her grandfather---he's the alpha. Sky decides to mate with Wyatt. They go to a gathering at her grandfather's and she goes for a walk with her younger brother. The killer stabs him and takes Sky. He shoots Wyatt with a silver bullet and Sky sees him go down. She passes out after the killer injects her with something. Sky wakes up in her mother's old house in the bedroom. She's strapped down and naked. He wants to mate with her. He starts to make love to her and she tells him she's mated to Wyatt. He tells her Wyatt's dead. Sky will not believe that Wyatt is dead. She makes the killer mad and he then decides that she's no better than the other women that he's killed. He grabs her head and goes to try and blind her. He tells her no one will want her after he's done with her. The killer claws her around her eyes trying to take her eyes out. Wyatt jumps him and they fight. Sky's grandfather is there and he helps her get loose. She starts to go help Wyatt because he's still weak from the bullet, but her grandfather stops her. He tosses her out of the way and attacks the killer. The killer kills him. Sky sees this and attacks and kills the killer. She goes to her grandfather's funeral while Wyatt recuperates from his injuries. She asks Wyatt to take her home and Wyatt tells her he loves her and wants her for his mate and wife. Great story. This book had me hooked from the first chapter. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole book trying to figure out who the bad guy was and if Wyatt and Sky would stop yelling at each other to realize that there was something between other than the bad guy after Sky.
This book had me laughing as crying as I rode the drama rollercoaster and I know you will want to know what happens to them in this story, so come along with me and discover if happiness can be found or not.

I just loved this. I've never read Gwen Knight before but I am a fan now. Wyatt and Skye were really perfect for each other. He's a total alpha badass and very dominant. He's not exactly nice to her at first...not at all. Kind of a dick to be honest. He is sort of like that through about half of the book. Skye is an alpha too. LOL. They totally butt heads because she doesnt like being told what to do or controlled. She wants to be ASKED and Wyatt just doesnt get that concept for quite some time. LOL. That sort of stems how she was brought up. They are mates/soulmates and this is sort of revealed at the very beginning. Neither one wants a mate. They fight like cats and dogs and she seriously gives him a run for his money when he first meets her. She clocks him good! Fought tooth and nail and man did I like her! Anyways a really sick psychopath is obsessed with her and has been for 3 years. He's been stalking her and leaving her little gifts through those years. She's done anything she can to get away from this wolf. She doesnt know who it is til the very end. He's killed women who resemble her and done icky stuff to them. So naturally Wyatt wants to protect her because his wolf wont let him do anything else. LOL. Secondary characters were great. I am surprised that her friend Shane who is the sheriff and he had feelings for her but it really wasnt touched on. Not really I mean he kissed her and that was it nothing else was mentioned about it. I'm assuming he moved on considering Wyatt's her mate but we as readers like to have closure. ) They DO finally mate and that was awesome. We meet her family and one of them perishes and that was very sad. I hope there is more to this series because its a great start!

This is a fabulously story! I absolutely enjoyed reading it. For this to be my first time reading a book by Gwen Knight it's quite entertaining. I enjoy a story that has humor and excitement. They never fail to tug at my heartstrings by the end of the story and I'm always left with a happy, satisfied, and well entertained. And this story is no exception! This story features Skylar Callahan and Wyatt Turner. Skylar is a werewolf who decided to leave everything she cared most about to find her career. Wyatt is a sexy alpha who intends to claim her his Way. Both of these characters will keep everyone interested in their antics with their chemistry blazing hot. There isn't much I didn't enjoy about this story which makes me happy to read it. I highly recommend this book. Yes I will Absolutely read this author again! I'm so excited to read her books just as soon as she releases her next book! Because I am totally entertained with such a Fabulous Awesome read!
The dynamic between Skylar and Wyatt sparkles and is totally believable. The portrayal of the creepy villain is ratcheted up throughout the novel and adds an element of suspense that keeps the pace rapid.
The sexual tension between the two main characters is steamy and very well written. Crisp dialogue and humor run throughout the entire book.

I bought this a long time ago & can't believe I missed out on reading this sooner o I love this author's work & already have the next book, so yes I highly recommend this to fans of fiction especially those who love PNR like I do!
